Polkadot, Ethereum, Moonbeam and Phala

Polkadot
With the Polkadot (DOT) parachains focusing on web3 buildout as part of the interoperability with Ethereum’s smart contract platform, the DOT ecosystem is quickly becoming a favorite, fighting its way to #4 market cap and boasting a strong community following.
With DOT currently residing at #4 market cap in the cryptocosm, the hushed projects are ongoing with many being both functional, or well on their way. This will create enormous opportunity alongside and parallel with Ethereum’s defi boom.
Gemini and other fiat onramps do not handle DOT, so for this trade Kraken is my favorite for those in the United States. Outside the US, find your favorite.

I will add to my stash on moderate dips, but I expect this has plenty of room to run higher with further development, so I won’t be too greedy. I like DOT less than $17, perhaps as low as $14, though again, I am not getting greedy.
Moonbeam (Glimr & River)
Moonbeam is one such project within the Polkadot ecosystem seeking to utilize the already teeming pool of solidity/Ethereum contracts by piping them directly into the Polkadot & Kusama chains, job done.
Moonbeam is launching two tokens in Q1 and Q2 of 2021; Glimr & River tokens which will effectively make Polkadot a turn-key proxy for Ethereum contracts, speeding up development and adoption by orders of magnitude.
This may also have implications for assisting with Ethereum layer-2 scaling solutions.
While I expect the most of Defi to stay put on the Ethereum blockchain, Polkadot effectively creates a seamless transition between the two, while being focused on the web3 buildout.

This is not an either/or situation, but rather: both. I am awaiting access to pick up some of these.
Ethereum
Nothing new here, extremely bullish on ETH, especially with how smoothly the ETH2 launch has gone, and continues.
I am still continuing soaking up as much Ether as I am able, even performing haircuts on some of the tokens as they pop in order to pad my wallet, reinvesting my initial back into ETH.

I expect supply squeezes to get tighter, and am looking for a supply cap to be added at some point. I like ETH under $1200, but I am also realistic.
Phala Network
Phala Network (PHA) - aims to create a privacy preserving smart contract enclave and a secure hardware cloud, leveraging (some) Intel and AMD chipsets.
I expect privacy to return to the spotlight because of the ongoing battle for censorship, and the cancel culture spreading to all reaches of the internet and service providers like financial services, cloud hosting, social media, and more.

I’ve doubled my position in PHA today and will continue adding to it, hopefully around the $0.20 level.
